Solo Stove's Bonfire Pi Fire
Bonfire baked pizza is what's hot in the streets.
The innovative folks at Grapevine-based Solo Stove have come up wtih yet another smart product that involves fire and heat and backyard fun: the Bonfire Pi Fire, a topper for your existing Solo Stove fire pit, for baking pizza.
This clever attachment essentially rests right on top of your existing Solo Stove (soon to include the orignal 30” Canyon models, retired a few years back) and allows you to use your fire pit as the wood fire fuel.
Perhaps the best part is the life it extends to your Solo Stove, especially if you live in warmer climates. Rather than cover your fire pit for the summer (unnecessary, for example, on a 90 degree night in Houston), you can now keep it out and on the ready for summer pizza parties.
The + Tools package ($255) appears to be a smart upgrade, giving you Bamboo Peel, Turner, and thermometer in addition to the Pi Fire, heat gloves and carrying case.
What it doesn’t come with is protection for the roof of your mouth, so let that cheese cool off before stuffing it in your Pi hole.
